ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The unbeaten Harding baseball team will play its first road game of the season Tuesday when it meets Ouachita Baptist in a non-conference game that will begin at 1 p.m.

Harding (5-0) is coming off a three-game sweep of Missouri S&T in non-conference action over the weekend and is undefeated after five games for the second straight season. The Bisons hit only .238 in the series, but the Harding pitching staff was outstanding. Harding’s three starting pitchers in the series allowed only eight hits and no earned runs with 14 strikeouts over 17.0 innings.

The top two hitters in the first series were junior second baseman Victor Guerra and junior outfielder Jeremy Bohnett. Guerra was 4-for-7 with two runs, a home run and three RBI, and Bohnett was 5-for-10 with two runs, a double, a home run, and five RBI.

Ouachita Baptist enters the game 5-5-1 overall and is coming off a two-games-to-one Great American Conference series victory over East Central in Ada, Okla. The Tigers have a .257 team batting average and a 6.07 team ERA. Ouachita Baptist is 2-4-1 in its seven home games.

Harding plans to use several pitchers in the game with Collin Campbell, a freshman from McCrory, Ark., scheduled to make his first collegiate start.
