CBS Sports names Malzahn for jobs at Arkansas & Auburn – OPEN THREAD

He suggests Arkansas call some of the names you’ve heard mentioned in the rumor mill first, including Arkansas State University’s Head Coach Gus Malzahn.

Who Arkansas should call first: Chris Petersen (head coach, Boise State), Jon Gruden (ESPN analyst, former NFL coach), Gus Malzahn (head coach, Arkansas State), Art Briles (head coach, Baylor).

Funny, he’s got Malzahn as a “call first” candidate for Auburn, too.

Who Auburn should call first: Charlie Strong (head coach, Louisville), Malzahn, James Franklin (head coach, Vanderbilt), Jimbo Fisher (head coach, Florida State), Chad Morris (offensive coordinator, Clemson).

Former head Hog Bobby Petrino is on the short list for Kentucky.
