FAYETTEVILLE – Following a series victory over No. 11 Vanderbilt last weekend, the Arkansas baseball team appeared in the national polls Monday afternoon, coming in at No. 24 according to Baseball America.

The Razorbacks grab a national ranking after completing a stretch of playing 14 ranked squads in a 17-game span, nine of which came against top 15 teams in the country. The Razorbacks won seven of those 14 games, including a pair of SEC series wins against No. 1 South Carolina and No. 11 Vanderbilt.

The Razorbacks have earned four wins this season against teams currently ranked in the top 10 in the country, and nine victories against programs in the top 25.

Arkansas has won five straight SEC series at Baum Stadium and have won at least one game in 23 straight SEC series dating back to the 2012 season, currently the second-longest streak in the league behind Vanderbilt at 25.

The Razorbacks are one of nine SEC teams ranked in the latest Baseball America Top 25 Poll, more than any other conference in the country.

Arkansas returns to action with five games this week, hosting Northwestern State Tuesday and Wednesday, before Auburn comes to town this weekend for a three-game series at Baum Stadium to cap a nine-game homestand.
