As we count down the weeks and days until the start of the college football season, we thought it would be fun to provide an occasional look at some great games of the past. If you’re like some of us, anything we can do to get a football fix until the real season starts helps with the withdrawals we face this time of year.

So here you go college football fans. The second “Occasional Countdown to Kickoff.” This features Arkansas State football coaching legend Larry Lacewell breaking down game film of his teams historic victory over Tulsa in 1981 (clearly a great year for football in Arkansas). Love the set, the love the logos and love the hair.

But mainly we love that we’re now one week closer to kickoff.
