Razorbacks Snag Another Recruit – Dan Skipper

And Dan Skipper is all in.

The word is Dan Skipper, 6’10, 295 pound, offensive lineman from Arvada, Colo. has officially committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. He took his official to University of Arkansas Jan. 17, and was in Oxford, Miss., on the Ole Miss campus for an official visit this past weekend.

From a feature story of Skipper in the Denver Post last summer:

Dan Skipper got his first scholarship offer in mid-January. By the time the 6-foot-10, 285-pound offensive tackle from Ralston Valley committed to Tennessee late Tuesday night, he held upwards of 21 more. He thinks. Skipper stopped counting.

“It was like drinking from a fire hydrant at times,” said Skipper, who will be a senior in the fall.

Colorado was the first to offer, on January 15. “Then,” Skipper said, “everything just kept coming. It never really took a break all the way through the spring recruiting period.”

    In the video, he absolutely pancakes the defenders and one did not get up after being body slammed. With that said, it was a high school game. I am of course not going to sneer because of that. If he has the tools to go along with the physical attributes then holy cow batman! I do get the giggles every now and then when I read what Bielema is doing. And it really is bad that a grown man gets the giggles. Hurry up spring practice and game!
