#SLAChat for March 5

We host #slachat Twitter Chat each Tuesday night at 8 pm.

If you are not a Twitter user, you can follow the discussion right here! Use #slachat to follow.

Special announcement tonight’s #slachat: We will begin at 8 p.m., as usual, and carry on for one hour beyond the end of the Arkansas Razorbacks/Missouri Tigers basketball game that starts at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

Topics for the live discussion Tuesday, March 5, 2013:

  1. The Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Hot Springs: The basketball games start Friday and run through Monday night’s championship game. Who’s going? What are your plans in Hot Springs? Do you have recommendations and game plans for the weekend – any must do’s and must eat at’s to share?
  2. Rushing the court!: Saturday night the UALR Trojans downed the Arkansas State Red Wolves at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock. When the rivalry game ended the court was stormed. Earlier this year, the Arkansas Razorbacks beat the highly-ranked Florida Gators at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, and security was tight. No court storming, but you could tell the desire was there to do it. So what do you think? When is OK to storm a court? Ever?
  3. Basketball Free-for-All: The Razorbacks basketball game for the night is over. High school state championships begin at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock later this week, and we are featuring “THE Greatest Backcourts in the History of Arkansas” with poll to determine who you think the greatest is/was. With that, let’s have a basketball free-for-all and get you to weigh in across the board.

We hope you’ll join us in the fun.
