LITTLE ROCK – Originally scheduled for a four-game home series with SIU Edwardsville this weekend, the UALR baseball team will instead play just three games against the Cougars, head coach Scott Norwood announced on Thursday. Additionally, Kansas and SIU Edwardsville square off in a neutral-site contest on Friday at noon at Gary Hogan Field.
Following the conclusion on Friday’s early game between the Jayhawks and the Cougars, UALR and SIUE will play the first of their three-game series with a tentative start time of 3 p.m. The Trojans and the Cougars will set first pitch for 3 p.m. again on Saturday before getting started at 1 p.m. in the series finale on Sunday.
