Arkansas (14-9, 5-5 SEC) is coming off a road loss at Vanderbilt in which the Razorbacks failed to get into a rhythm. The Razorback attack was paced by Mardracus Wade who scored 13 points including two three-point basket and Kikko Haydar who came off the bench to score nine.

Overall, junior Marshawn Powell is a catalyst to the Arkansas offense, ranking No. 2 in scoring, No. 1 in shooting percentage and No. 2 in rebounding. The former unanimous selection All-SEC Freshman team player looks to be completely recovered from two years of injuries and is playing at a high level as the Arkansas season enters its stretch run. Sophomore BJ Young is Arkansas’ leading scorer at 16.1 points per game and is also leading the way with 87 assists on the year.

Auburn (9-14, 3-7 SEC) has struggled since its double-overtime loss to Arkansas in mid January and has lost seven of its last eight games including two at home. The Tigers have struggled to score, averaging just 61.5 points per game during that time, and other than two games, have failed to surpass 62 points. Senior Frankie Sullivan continues to lead Auburn in scoring at 15.7 points per game and has help in Chris Denson (11.8 ppg) who missed the last game between the programs with an injury. Senior Rob Chubb (9.3 ppg, 7.2 rpg) is the team’s leading rebounder and counted on to make plays in the paint.

Arkansas leads the all-time series between the two programs, 29-16, which includes a series high five-game winning streak against the Tigers. Arkansas is 9-12 on the road at Auburn, but has not lost at the arena since the 2010 season. This is the second time the two teams have met this year as they played a double-overtime thriller in mid-January which Arkansas won, 88-80.

The Razorback game against Auburn will be broadcast on the radio across the Razorback Sports Network from IMG College with Chuck Barrett and Rick Schaeffer giving the call. The game will also be carried live on Comcast Sports with Dave Baker and Daymeon Fishback on air.
