JONESBORO, Ark. (2/1/13) – For the sixth consecutive year, Arkansas State Athletics will offer “Signing Day Central” on its official Web site, AStateRedWolves.com, throughout National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
“Signing Day Central” will update during the day and feature complete bios of A-State’s football signees as soon as their National Letter of Intent is received. In addition to the bios and stats, “Signing Day Central” will also provide fans free video highlights of those players signing with Arkansas State. The free online highlights can be accessed by clicking on a player’s name at the beginning of his bio.
The 2013 Arkansas State signing class will be the first under Bryan Harsin, who was named the Red Wolves 29th all-time head coach on Dec. 12, 2012. The Red Wolves are coming off back-to-back Sun Belt Conference championships and a victory over 25th-ranked Kent State in the 2013 GoDaddy.com Bowl.
ASU ended the 2012 season receiving votes in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Top-25 polls and will enter the 2013 season tied for the nation’s second longest winning streak with Stanford and behind only Ohio State. ASU is one of just 16 programs in the nation to win at least 20 games over the last two seasons.
