The Arkansas State Red Wolves beat the Kent State Golden Flashes in the 2013 Go Daddy Bowl 17-13. From my seat, McKissic gets your bowl MVP award with a record setting night in receptions. On defense, Kent State’s DL, Dana Brown Jr. had the best game on that side of the ball, he was in Aplin’s pocket all night. Best play of the night had to be the early tipped pass that led to an INT for ASU, as Kent State was going into the endzone. Worst play of the night was Dri Archer getting hurt. Kid was electric until his injury, that took just a little of the shine off of the game.
Brown gets one last shot on Aplin, but Aplin looks to celebrate tonight with the Red Wolf faithful. John Thompson barking at the stripes.
Exactly 1-minute to go and it’s 4th down again. The Flashes converted previously. Have to say it’s been a good game if you like to see defensive players working with reckless abandon. A solid defensive game for both teams. personally, I like defense, I like when two teams run to the ball with some fury.
