Bielema Letter to Long Regarding Petrino Firing

Chris Bahn, editor of Arkansas Business in Northwest Arkansas, has unearthed the letter referenced in the introductory press conference by Jeff Long, Arkansas’ athletic director. The letter from Bret Bielema with his thoughts concerning the firing of former Hog head coach, Bobby Petrino, is one of a handful Long says he received from coaches from around the country after firing the coach. Petrino was named the head coach of Western Kentucky University, Dec. 10.
