 Youth Soccer Games With Kids Playing in Full Costumes

Provide Opportunity for Great Stand-Alone Photo and Video

WHAT: The Halloween Superclassico –– a day of fun soccer games for kids ages 4 to 8 years old with all players dressed in Halloween costumes. There will be 448 kids from throughout Central Arkansas participating.

WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 26, with games taking place from 8:30 a.m. to noon

WHERE: Murray Park soccer fields (take same park entrance as for boat ramp and dog park) in Little Rock

WHY: The Halloween Superclassico is an annual event held on the Saturday before Halloween and is an effort to emphasize fun in youth sports by inviting all players in the U5 to U8 age divisions to wear Halloween costumes during their teams’ games. It will be enough of a spectacle to provide many great stand-alone photo and video opportunities.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The Halloween Superclassico is sponsored by Arkansas United Soccer Club, which is the largest and one of the oldest youth soccer programs in Central Arkansas and a place where fun is still a top priority in youth sports. About 1,400 youths ranging in ages from 3 to 18 years old are currently playing soccer through Arkansas United programs, which are based in Little Rock and Conway. Arkansas United offers top-level soccer training from professionally licensed coaches.
