Harding Academy Wins Squeaker Beating Glen Rose

Senior Wildcat Caleb Spears is headed for the endzone for six points and a Harding Academy 3A State Championship title.  The Wildcats defeated the Glen Rose Beavers 48-45 Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Stadium.

With only seconds to play, Harding Academy’s senior quarterback, Will Francis, connected on a 20-yard pass play to Caleb Spears, who powered his way into the endzone for the go-ahead score. That pass capped a 499-yard outing for Francis, who was named the game’s most valuable player.
