Henderson State Reddies Are Full Speed Ahead

The Henderson State Reddies athletic department rolled into Little Rock Tuesday to roll out a new campaign and introduce the coaching staff and a couple of football players to the media.

The new campaign for the school, “Full Speed Ahead,” was introduced with one of the best videos we’ve seen, produced by Henderson State alum Cameron Magee.

In addition to unveiling the video, which is one of 30 planned throughout the year to tell the story of the Henderson State Reddies, coaches including, Cody Hooten, baseball, Damon Francis, baseball, Jill Thomas, women’s basketball, Scott Maxfield, football, Beth Jackson, softball and Coak Matthews, swimming and diving, were on hand to meet the press.

Student athletes who attended the event were linebacker Glennon Bobo, and quarterback Kevin Rodgers (bios below). Rodgers is a preseason All-American candidate for D-II. The students return to the practice field Sunday, Aug. 11, to begin the defense of the Great American Conference title they won last year and attempt another undefeated regular season.
