It’s game day, people. Let’s have a blast!

9:38 p.m. 30-10 Florida — Looks like the Gators were determined to cosmetically keep the score looking like a rout, putting the starters on defense back in to stop Arkansas at the Florida 3 in the last minute. Brandon Allen was sacked on first down and was under major duress on pass attempts all the way to a fourth-and-goal incompletion. And that is it.
9:34 p.m. — Arkansas is on a late move, so I decided to jump back in for some last words. Javontee Herndon has picked it up with three catches on this long, long drive to the Gators 4. Arkansas has called a time out with 1:45 to play trying to get some last points on the board and cosmetically make it look better than it’s been the past three quarters. Hard to remember that the Hogs actually led this game 7-0. Been one of those usual games against the SEC East powers, the way it’s mostly been for 21 years, since then. I will say, Alex Collins has had a better night receiving than anyone else on the Hogs’ side. He just caught an 11-yard to put the ball at the 4.
9:19 p.m. 30-10 Florida — Gators aren’t through even though Arkansas is. Florida goes to the air and pushes across a short drive after an exchange of possession. Murphy shovels a pass to Valdez Showers for 9 yards and the score. This one is done. I’ll check back in with a recap, and we’ll have the Two-Minute Drill on this site later tonight, after dressing room quotes are released. Arkansas is home next week against South Carolina in Fayetteville in an 11:21 a.m. start.
9:12 p.m. 24-10 Florida — Arkansas was fortunate not to turn the ball over after a crushing sack on Brandon Allen, which jarred the ball loose. Turns out Florida was offsides. But in the fray for the loose ball, a Florida defender tosses Jonathan Williams away from the scrum and Williams takes offense to it — and he’s the one who draws a 15-yard personal foul penalty. So Arkansas and Brandon Allen are so backed up they can’t get anything done on the next three snaps. Allen appears all used up, and the Hogs don’t believe they can win at this point. Florida’s defense has convinced them.
8:59 p.m. — Check that, Allen took off the glove before going out. Herndon drops a catchable ball. Allen hasn’t had a great night, but Arkansas’ receivers have let Allen down as well. That was a give-up drop, a no-confidence miss. Hogs give up a 27-yard punt return to Trey Burton. Nearly was a TD. Nobody among the first guys down field made much of an effort on it. Cornerback Jared Collins made the saving tackle.
