Jim Harris with The Buzz: You Too Can Coach The Red Wolves; NCAA Championship

Each Tuesday Jim Harris appears on 103.7 The Buzz FM at 11 a.m. during the The Zone with Justin Acri and Pat Bradley. This week the crew broke down the national championship game between Kentucky and UConn and dreamed of getting to coach the Red Wolves.

And if you’ll click the video below to listen to Jim, we sure hope you’ll take a second to follow us on YouTube. We’re looking for 1,000 “subscribers” there. Please and thank you.

What a wonderful idea from the marketing minds of Arkansas State University – A lucky fan with cash to spare can bid on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to coach the Red Wolves during the spring game on Friday, April 18. The special offer is available on ebay here and is billed as “BCS Head Coach Experience at 2014 Arkansas State Spring Game.”

Bids started at $2,500 and as of Friday morning had reached $11,500. The pitch for the winning bidder?

Heck, and who knows, based on the track record of the past few years with A-State football, you could put yourself in the mix to replace current head football coach Blake Anderson should he follow in the steps of previous successful head honchos in Jonesboro.

After Jim’s appearance, Anderson appeared on 103.7 The Buzz and discussed Fredi Knighten and the quarterback situation based on efforts this spring. Anderson said Knighten was the No.1 quarterback, but still had improvements to make. The coach said he expected Knighten to make those improvements as Spring Drills continue and through the summer.
