CONWAY, Ark. – Hendrix College sophomore shortstop Michaela Larabee was named the Southern Athletic Association Softball Hitter of the Week on Monday. Larabee led the Warriors at the plate with a .500 average (7-of-14), two doubles and three RBI to go with three runs scored and stolen base as Hendrix took three out of four games from Centre in conference play over the weekend. The Farmington, Ark. native had a hit in every game, including three hits in the first game on Sunday. For the week, Lararabee slugged .643 and had an on-base percentage of .533. She was also perfect in the field on 16 chances.
Larabee and the Warriors will take on the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. on Tuesday.
