Live with Jim Harris: Ole Miss at Arkansas

It’s game day: Ole Miss at Arkansas. The forecast is rainy, but there’s no better time than today on CBS starting at 2:30 for the Hogs to continue the winning ways and beat the Rebels.

Jim Harris will be posting his thoughts throughout the game here, so check this page often. (Scroll down about halfway and you’ll see the posts from Jim.)

Ole Miss at Arkansas

Ole Miss at Arkansas: Wouldn’t mind seeing the Hogs in the end zone often today and the Rebels, not so much.

Remember to tune in to the Hogzone on Channel 11, KTHV, right after the CBS broadcast and then again tonight at 10:30 p.m. I’ll be on with some experts, Rick David and Mike Shepherd. Later, you’ll have Clint Stoerner and Joe Adams in Little Rock for the late show. Watch, you’ll love it.
Arkansas 30-0, final — That’s it. A shutout. Brooks Ellis all but secured it when he picked Buchanan over the middle to end the Ole Miss threat after Austin’s fumble. Remember when Brooks Ellis couldn’t catch an opponent’s pass (Texas Tech, I believe). That seems eons ago.
Austin Allen’s fumble untouched puts the shutout of Ole Miss in jeopardy, Arkansas turns it over at the Razorback 36. First really bad play of the game for anybody in red, no? There is 7:18 remaining.
Jonathan Williams has gone over 1,000 yards rushing for the season.
Arkansas 30-0, 11:42 to play — Just to prove they still care, the Ole Miss defense puts up quite a stand on three snaps with Arkansas at the 1 yard line. This followed a ridiculous fumble by the young quarterback, Kincade, who tried to pass but had the ball fall out behind him before he made his follow-through. Darius Philon scooped the ball and ran it back 7 yards to the 1. Adam McFain booted through the 18-yard field goal (tough angle for it, but no problem) and the Razorbacks are off that 27, now at 30-0 with 11:42 to go.
