NFL Combine Invites 8 from Arkansas Colleges to Participate

The latest invitation list for NFL Combine participants is out and eight former football players from Arkansas colleges have their tickets in hand to participate in the event. The NFL Scouting Combine is an annual, week-long opportunity for players to showcase their talents for pro coaches and scouts in advance of the draft.

The eight players who have been invited to the NFL Combine are from three schools in state: University of Arkansas (6); University of Arkansas Pine Bluff (1); and Harding University (1).

There are no former members of the Arkansas State Red Wolves on the invite list for the NFL Combine currently, but it is not uncommon for players to receive late invites each year. We’re hearing we should keep an eye on former Red Wolf defensive back, Don Jones. He may get a last-minute invitation.

Speaking of Jones, if you’ve not seen this video of him jumping for a scout, you should. Pretty good stuff.
