Razorback Scrimmage Open To Public

FAYETTEVILLE – The first Razorback scrimmage of spring practice Saturday, April 5, 2014, will be open to the public, coach Bret Bielema announced Wednesday.

The scrimmage is set to begin at approximately 11:45 a.m. inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Parking is available in Lots 72 and 73 across Razorback Road from Gate 1 and in Lot 44 north of the stadium. Fans will enter through Gate 1 on the southwest corner of the stadium beginning at 11 a.m. Once inside, seating for fans will be available on the west side of the stadium.

Saturday’s practice will be the Razorbacks’ sixth of 15 allotted practices in the spring. Practices wrap up with the annual Red-White Game on Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. Admission is free to the game, which will also be broadcast live on CST.

The Razorbacks open the 2014 season Aug. 30 at Auburn, marking the first time since joining the SEC the Razorbacks will open with a conference opponent. It also will be the first time since 1999, when Arkansas opened at SMU, that Arkansas will play its season opener on the road and the first time since a 1980 matchup at Texas that the Razorbacks will begin the season with a conference game on the road.
