Razorbacks Men’s Basketball Coach Anderson Previews Auburn

FAYETTEVILLE – University of Arkansas head men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson met with the media on Monday to discuss the Razorbacks’ upcoming game against Auburn scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Bud Walton Arena. 

“We get to play an Auburn team that is playing some of their better basketball at this part of the year,” Anderson said. “As a coach that is what you want, since conference is starting up and you want to be clicking on all cylinders.” 

Anderson spoke about what he expected of the Razorbacks (10-5) coming into the game against an 8-7 Auburn team. He talked about how the Razorbacks stepped up defensively in the 56-33 win over Vanderbilt. 

Anderson then answered questions from the media about different players needing to step up offensively, on playing and winning at home, and on Rashad Madden, Marshawn Powell and Anthlon Bell.
