Red Wolves Rugby Club Advances to Semis

 

The Arkansas State University Red Wolves Rugby Club is still in the hunt for a national title after beating Kutztown in Jonesboro, Ark., Saturday by a final score of 31-10.

The Red Wolves Rugby team’s regular season foe, Life, beat Army 55-29 in West Point, N.Y. To advance to the semi-finals.

On Saturday, May 4, the Red Wolves and Life Eagles play for the third time this season. Each team has a victory over the other, with the Red Wolves besting the Eagles in Joneboro earlier this season, and the Eagles claiming victory in Georgia to end the regular season. The winner of this match advances to the national finals.

In other rugby tournament action, Cal Poly beat CSU 40-19 in Ft. Collins, Colo., and St. Mary’s beat CU 65-25 in Moraga. Calif.
