Spinal Cord Injuries

Spinal cord injuries can occur when damage to the neck causes tears in the ligaments that support the spine. When the spine is left vulnerable, the vertebrae can slip out of alignment and damage the delicate spinal cord. Injuries to the spinal cord can result in paralysis or death in severe cases.
