Sun Belt To Show SBC Basketball Tourney Games

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (3/4/13) – The 2013 Sun Belt Conference (SBC) Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament will be held this weekend (March 8-11) and fans nationwide can watch the exciting tournament action via the SBC Digital Network.

All SBC Tournament games will be available for free via the web on the Sun Belt Digital Network at www.sunbeltsports.org. Fans can also download the Sun Belt Network application (app) at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sun-belt-digital-network/id561512097?mt=8 and view all of the contests with the exception of the women’s and men’s championship games. A version of the app can also be accessed in the Google Play Store.

Select quarterfinal-round games played at Summit Arena only and all semifinal-round contests are available on regional television via the Sun Belt Television Network and on ESPN3 out of market. Both the women’s and men’s championship games will be televised nationally with the women’s title contest to be shown on ESPNU at 1 p.m. (CT) and the men’s game airing on ESPN at 6 p.m. (CT).

Live in-game statistics and post-game media conference video for all 2013 tournament contests will be available free of charge. Fans can view both statistics and media conference video via the Sun Belt Conference’s website at www.sunbeltsports.org and/or the Sun Belt Digital Network mobile application. Game highlights from each conference tourney matchup is also expected to be available for fans through the league’s website and/or the SBC Digital Network mobile application.

The Arkansas State University men’s and women’s basketball teams open conference tournament action this Saturday (March 9) in Hot Springs, Ark. The women go up against FIU in an 11:30 a.m. (CT) contest at the Convention Center Court while the men will either face Florida Atlantic or Troy at Summit Arena with tip-off scheduled for 9 p.m. (CT).
