UALR Assistant AD, Gary Hogan, Arrested for DWI

KTHV Channel 11 in Little Rock is reporting Gary Hogan, an assistant athletic director for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, was arrested June 20 for driving while intoxicated. He is due in court July 15.

In the arrest report, police say they got two phone calls about a white Chevy Corvette driving on the wrong side of the road. Just after 9:30 police pulled the vehicle over at Hampton Road and McCain Blvd.

Gary Hogan was identified as the driver. The officer says Hogan had the smell of alcohol on his breath, and Hogan admitted he had been drinking. A breathalyzer test at the scene registered his BAC at .148. Back at headquarters, police say Hogan refused to complete the BAC test.

Hogan is charged with DWI, refusing to submit, and unsafe driving.
