Williams Baptist College Lady Eagles Garner Academic All-Conference

 

Walnut Ridge, Ark. – The American Midwest Conference announced its Academic All-Conference team this week.  The sixth ranked Lady Eagles from Williams Baptist College are not only winning on the field, but the classroom as well, with 13 WBC players landing on the Academic All-Conference squad.

The players who received the honor are: Callie Brooks of Monette, Ark.; Emma French of Bakersfield, Mo.; Kirsten Gipson of Springville, Ala.; Karisa Hendrix of Cherokee Village, Ark.; Brianna Hindman of Irving, Texas; Hallie Horton of Dewitt, Ark.; Kayla Jones of Kennedale, Texas; Hayley Overbay of Jonesboro, Ark.; Susannah Pugh of Hernando, Miss.; Mallory Siebert of Scott City, Mo.; Callie Simmons of North Little Rock, Ark.; Shelby Upshaw of Mountain Home, Ark.; and Teighlor Williams of Farmington, Ark.

The Lady Eagles’ on-field record is 40-4, while players receiving the Academic All-Conference honor have carried a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and have been enrolled at the college for the entire year.
