We told you a couple of weeks ago this was possible and now it is official: Tim Horton will be moving from his job on the Razorback coaching staff to Auburn.
Thank you to players, coaches, teammates, media and fans for 10 great years at UA. Proud Arkansan! Thrilled to be going to Auburn! #GoHogs

Horton will be the new tight ends coach for Gus Malzahn’s Auburn Tigers. This move completes Malzahn’s staff.
From Auburn:
We will update this story throughout the day.

Ark will miss his connections.
Nooooooo!!!
Wow ! He and Gus? Why did he leave ? Was he not asked to stay on?
Alabama’s gain; Arkansas’ loss. Best wishes to Tim.
Sad to hear this. Major loss for our state and program.
Hate to see that. But I wish him the best of luck except going up against the Hogs
Did he agreed with Nutt that Gus didn’t have the experience to call plays at Arkansas? Did he help run off Gus with the rest of the Nutt staff? I am happy for Gus. I think we are heading down the correct path with the new Arkansas staff. We will eclipse Auburn shortly. Good luck Horton in tiger country.
The worst thing about this move is that Gus and Horton will recruit hell out of Arkansas and whup us with players that should’ve been Hogs. Razorbacks fans will rue the times Arkansas had a chance to hire Gus and they let him slip by.
I’ll take Bielema and his coaching staff over anything Gus is associated 10 times out of 10.
You’re in the minority on this one Roscoe, I’m betting.
I’m with Jon. Bielema did well with a high assistant turnover rate and miniscule recruiting budget. With a high quality staff, who are also noted as recruiters, and something that is itself a recruiting attraction, plus a very nice recruiting budget, Arkansas will do well.
