2014 Arkansas Boys State High School Basketball Championships

The 2014 Arkansas Boys State High School Basketball Championships have been played and the season is officially over.

Below are box scores for every championship game played last week and this weekend.

Congratulations to all of these teams for great seasons, wonderful competition and to the student athletes who represent the spirit of what it means to be Sporting Life Arkansans!

The games are listed by classification from Class 7A to Class 1A.

Starting with Springdale vs. North Little Rock. The Charging Wildcats took the title, and future Arkansas Razorback Anton Beard of North Little Rock was named the 7A Most Valuable Player.

7A 2014 Arkansas Boys State High School Basketball Championships

What a game for the 6A State title. Little Rock Parkview vs. Jonesboro, and Jonesboro takes the title. Kahron Ross (listed as Justin Ross in the box score) was named the 6A Most Valuable Player.

The 5A game was Jacksonville vs. Forrest City for all of the glory, and Forrest City took it by a final score of 69-60.

The 4A State title game featured Brookland vs. Lonoke, with Brookland winning 60-50. Chandler Thompson was named the 4A Most Valuable Player.

Charleston vs. Episcopal Collegiate for the 3A State Boys Championship and Episcopal held on to win it 62-56. Mahlon Martin was named the 3A Most Valuable Player.

In the 2A State Title Game, Clarendon faced Cedar Ridge, with Cedar Ridge winning 64-40 at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs. Spencer Reaves was named the 2A Most Valuable Player.

Last but not least, the 2014 1A Boys State Championship Game: Wonderview vs. Concord and Concord wins it 57-40. Jacob Roark of Concord was named the 1A Most Valuable Player.
