SEARCY – Harding sophomore Ewa Zaborowska was named Lone Star Conference Outstanding Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Year on Wednesday, as the conference released its postseason honors. The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association also released its indoor track and field postseason honors.
Zaborowska, a native of Wejherowo, Poland and also the LSC Academic Track Athlete of the Year, earned All-LSC honors for winning both the mile and 3,000 meters at the indoor conference meet. She also ran the anchor leg of Harding’s conference title-winning distance medley relay team.
Additionally, Zaborowska earned USTFCCCA All-Central Region honors in all three events.
Other All-LSC and All-Central Region recipients included senior Portia Bell (60 meters, DMR), sophomore Dallis Bailey (DMR), and freshman Tammy Kim (DMR). Senior Tiffany Chambers earned All-LSC honors for winning the pole vault at the conference meet.
