SAU Muleriders Heading to NCAA D-II Regionals

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – With their second straight Great American Conference regular season and tournament championships in hand, the Southern Arkansas Muleriders baseball team has learned that their season will continue as they have earned an at-large bid in the 2013 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament as it was announced by the NCAA on the official baseball selection show on Sunday evening.

The Muleriders (40-15), who are now going to play in their sixth consecutive regional tournament, will enter the 2013 Central Region Tournament as the No. 3-seed and will be traveling to Mankato, Minnesota as Minnesota State-Mankato will serve as the No. 1-seed and host institution.

As the No. 3-seed in the regional, the Muleriders will take on the No. 4-seed Missouri Western State. The game date and time and further information regarding the 2013 NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament will be able to found on www.muleriderathletics.com throughout the night and early next week.
