UA's Gymbacks Drop A Spot in National Rankings

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas gymnastics team, the Gymbacks, scored a 196.100 in a home loss to Auburn to move down a spot to No. 11 in the Gyminfo rankings.

All-American Katherine Grable scored a 39.575 to win her fourth all-around competition in as many chances on the season and earn the No. 4 ranking overall. She also posted new season bests on the floor (9.95) and beam (9.925) to capture those event titles as well. Grable is now four-for-four on collecting floor and all-around titles this season.

In the event rankings, the Razorbacks are No. 11 on the vault, 19th on bars, 5th on the beam and 15th on the floor.

In the individual rankings, Grable stands at the No. 11 spot on the vault and 8th on beam and floor.

Also in the individual rankings, sophomore Sydnie Dillard is No. 12 on the beam.

The Razorbacks return to action to host No. 3 LSU in Barnhill Arena on Friday, Feb. 7 for the team’s pink meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
