HU Women’s Tennis Falls at Southern Nazarene

EDMOND, Okla. – Harding women’s tennis lost its second straight Great American Conference match Saturday to Southern Nazarene. The Crimson Storm downed the Lady Bisons 8-1. Harding fell to 9-7 overall and 1-2 in conference play. 

Harding’s lone point came at No. 6 singles, where junior Kaleigh Wagner won 6-0, 6-0 over Payton Bergmann. Wagner, who has a team-leading 10 singles victories, has won three straight in straight sets and five of her last six singles matches.

Harding will look to end the skid Tuesday against GAC foe Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Ark. The match will begin at 2 p.m.
