RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.- As they kick off the second year of action in the Great American Conference, the Ouachita Baptist women’s tennis program, under the direction of Head Coach Betsy Danner, has been chosen to finish fifth in the preseason poll. The poll is voted on by coaches from around the conference.
The Lady Tigers were chosen to finish ahead of Henderson State, while Arkansas Tech, East Central and Harding were chosen to take first, second and third in this year’s conference race. Southeastern Oklahoma was picked fourth in the oll, followed by Ouachita and Henderson State.
The Lady Tigers kick off their season on February 7, when they host Drury University. That match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
