North Little Rock vs South Panola – 103.7 The Buzz Arkansas High School Game of the Week

North Little Rock football is looking to win a state title this year.  Their basketball team won one for the first time in 40 years last March and the Football wants one bad.  Very bad.

Brad Bolding has guided the Charging Wildcats to the semi-finals the past two years only to come up short of playing for a title.  Bolding’s Charging Wildcats are loaded with talent and he has scheduled a tough non-conference game in week two this year, just like last year when North Little Rock traveled to Longview, Texas.

This Friday night in the High School Game of The Week Driven by Fletcher Kia, North Little Rock will take on a power house from Mississippi when the South Panola Tigers out of Batesville, Miss., travel to North Little Rock.

South Panola had an 89 game winning streak snapped a couple of years ago and have dominated in their first three games this year, most recently winning 34-14 over Meridian, Miss.

The Tigers were led by Darrell Henderson who scored 4 touchdowns and rushed for 267 yards.  He should draw a lot of interest from the North Little Rock defense Friday night.

North Little Rock has an outstanding group of skill players as well in Arkansas Razorback commit Juan Day in the backfield and wide receiver transfer KJ Hill from Bryant who received an offer from Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema last Saturday.
