MONTICELLO — University of Arkansas at Monticello head football coach Hud Jackson has announced the signing of 11 mid-year transfers to join the team for the 2013 season.
“There were some specific areas that we had to get some help,” said Jackson. “Obviously, the most important one was the quarterback position. We had three guys with injuries last season, two being career-ending. We signed two really good quarterbacks that we’re very excited about… Those guys have already come in and shown a great deal of leadership. We also needed help up front on the offensive and defensive lines, and feel more than comfortable with the players we have signed.”

“We’re expecting these guys to come in and immediately compete for starting spots,” said Jackson. “We’re excited with this group, and ready to see them on the field with the team in spring ball.”
