Boll Weevils Football Begins Spring Practice Today

MONTICELLO — The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team begins spring practice today, March 12 with a schedule of 15 practices lasting through April 12.

Included in those 15 practices are three scrimmages set for Friday, March 29 at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 5 at 3:30 p.m. and the annual Spring Game on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m.

All practices will be held at the Practice Facility behind Bankston Hall, Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Boll Stadium or the Indoor Practice Facility beyond the north end zone of Cotton Boll Stadium. All practices and scrimmages are open to the public.

The spring 2013 practice schedule is as follows:

Practice 1: March 12 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 2: March 13 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 3: March 14 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 4: March 26 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 5: March 27 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 6: March 28 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 7: March 29 – 3:30 p.m. (Scrimmage #1)

Practice 8: April 1 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 9: April 2 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 10: April 3 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 11: April 5 – 3:30 p.m. (Scrimmage #2)

Practice 12: April 8 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 13: April 9 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 14: April 11 – 4:05 p.m.

Practice 15: April 12 – 7 p.m. (Spring Game)
