CONWAY, Ark. – Hendrix College women’s lacrosse head coach Peri West has the program’s first two commitments in Kate Davis and Meghan Ayers, both of Allen, Texas.
Davis is a 5-5 midfielder who served as team captain at Allen High School for three seasons. She was a District All-Stars during her sophomore and junior years, as well as the team MVP.
Ayers is a 5-8 defenseman who earned all-district honors twice and was the Defensive Player of the Year as a junior. She is a four-year varsity starter and all-time career leader in ground balls and caused turnovers.
West’s Warriors will begin intercollegiate play in the spring of 2014.
